A studio for the unprivileged
Hick Gwarimbo
Hick Gwarimbo a Gospel Afro Fusion artist dreams of opening a music studio for the less privileged young artists living in the marginalised community.
Gwarimbo who is set to release his single track first week of May said he is mainly targeting young talented artists living in marginalised communities in Zimbabwe's 10 provinces.
“By end of next year, the studio should be up and running.
“The studio is aimed at assisting upcoming gospel artists from the less privileged communities in all 10 provinces in Zimbabwe,” said Gwarimbo.
He said he would want to groom and assist young artists until they reach a time where they will be able to do things on their own.
They will be taking one artist from each province meaning they will be working with 10 artists thus providing them with the available and required equipment to explore their talents.
Gwarimbo said he is planning a golf tournament on the launch of his single track in a bid to raise funds of the studio.
