Ghetto Mouthpiece-Ti Gonzi fighting for his life in ICU
‘Hipu Hopu’ pioneer, Tinashe ‘Ti Gonz’ Gonzora is currently battling for his life in Intensive Care Unit after he was brutally stabbed on Monday night reportedly coming from Oskid’s studio in Newlands.
It is reported that the ‘Kure’ hit maker left the studio at around 2 am, in the company of his manager and they boarded a Honda fit which was on the pretence of ferrying passengers from town to white house where the manager was to be dropped off.
It is said that the car had three men, one driving, and one man in the front passenger seat and the other one at the back. Another man is said to have been picked up along the way, making them four.
On the way, two of the robbers who were seated at the back are said to have pulled out knives and robbed the duo off their phones and money. Things got out of hand when the Honda fit stopped and noticed there was a Toyota wish with police men that was following them. The police are said to have fired shots at the Honda fit setting them in a high speed pursuit.
The manager is reported to have been thrown out of the moving car along Kirkman road and was mistaken as one of the robbers and arrested only to be released in the wee hours of the morning.
Unfortunately for Ti Gonzi, the traumatic ordeal ended with him sprawled, unconscious, with several stabs to the head and he was rushed on Tuesday morning into ICU.
