Hip Hop is not for crazy people affirms Terrency Mabvanya
Terry Mab real name is Terrence Mabvanya aged 24 born and raised in Mutare started loving music when he was a little kid but became more serious after completing his I.T Diploma in 2016 at Mutare Poly says Hip Hop is not a genre for crazy people.
He told OyOsNews, “I didn't think Zim Hip Hop was going to move me that much because I didn't have many people to look up to but when I listened to Takura, the message he put into his music got me shaking and made me realize that I was lacking something. I remember a long time back people used to say Hip Hop is for crazy people because they will be walking around with their pants down and stuff which forced me to pursue my music career after I graduated. I interacted with a lot of artists from outside the country and the very same year I got nominated for the Best Diaspora Act Zim Hip Hop Awards 2017.”
He said he doesn’t compete with no-one because no-one competes with him, “In other words am trying to say I can't rate myself with such big artist that I look up to because it's for the crowd to judge.” He is currently living in Maputo, Mozambique.
