Oliver Mtukudzi former mentee appeals for assistance
Evelyn Chamboko, known professionally by her stage name Mwana WeDande is appealing for assistance to finish her project which she was working on with the late Dr Oliver Mtukudzi before he passed on in January recently.
Chamboko began her music journey making Zimdancehall music before she switched over to jazz after she was discovered by Oliver Mtukudzi. She then went on to record six tracks in what was meant to be her debut studio album but then her music career took a major blow when Mtukudzi passed on.
She says that all that is left is for the tracks to be mastered and for her to launch her album, however, she is determined to finish what she started with Tuku and is appealing for assistance to do so. She hopes she will be able to fulfill her music career dreams through this album.
