SAYWHAT hosts 9th annual National Student Conference
SAYWHAT (Students And Youth Working on Reproductive Health Action Team) has hosted an 8km marathon as well as the 9th National Student Conference for awareness against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) today at the ZESA Training Centre in Harare today.
The event saw numerous attendees arriving to participate in both events and among them was a local music artist, Dereck Mpofu attended as a guest speaker at the event.
Among the issues being discussed is abortion services, the morning after pill, long-term contraception, self-test devices, adult rape clinic, different condoms, PreP and PEP, STI screening. These are some SRH services that young people are asking for in tertiary institutions.
Since inception, SAYWHAT has implemented numerous projects that sought to address sexual reproductive health concerns of students in tertiary institutions and young people in general.
