Selmor ‘drives’ Tuku Legacy
Selmor Mtukudzi has got another seal of approval from Impala Director, Thompson Dondo, after getting a Range Rover from Impala.
The Tuku heiress has managed to resurrect the legendary music that many thought had died with Oliver Mtukudzi and she has done justice to her father’s legacy.
Selmor took to social media to express her gratitude in a post written,
“Saying Thank you doesn’t seem to be enough anymore @ImpalaCarRentals. Ndibatsireiwo hama dzangu ndoti kudii pakadai”.
Although it could not be established what her role will be, Selmor will now be driven by Impala and owns the Range Rover. Oliver Mtukudzi was an ambassador for Impala and it appears Dondo has endorsed Selmor to take over.
She has impressed and introduced herself in style when she held a show at Andy Miller Hall in Harare. Dondo was part of that show and immediately endorsed Selmor as the heir to Tuku’s throne before giving her a car.
Selmor has been doing live performances dubbed ‘KwaTuku’ and she has definitely lived up to the ‘TukuMusicLivesOn’ slogan.
