Bhora neMagitare for charity

The battle between Sungura and Dancehall artists is one that cannot be settled on the stage and should be taken to the ‘greens’.

Sungura musicians meet Zim Dancehall Musicians in a football match at Dzivarasekwa Stadium on 6 April in a match dubbed “Fill up DZ Stadium-Bhora Nemagitare”. This is one event that will determine whether the “borrowdale dance” legs can beat the “clarks” team.

Print Journalists and Electronic Journalists will lock horns in a curtain raiser and the day will be shut down with a big performance from 60 local artists which has been referred to as ’60 Magate’

The Sungura team features Jah Prayzah, Baba Charamba, Baba Harare, Somandla Ndebele, Tatenda Pinjisi, Madzibaba Nicholas Zakaria, Progress Chipfumo, Victor Kunonga and Garry Tight.

The Dancehall team includes Soul Jah Love, Freeman, Killer T, King Shaddy, Enzo Ishall, Judgement Yard, Shinsoman, Seh Calaz and Hwindi Prezident among others.

The game has become an annual event organised by Patson Chimbodza of Chipaz Promotions in a bid to raise funds for charity.
