“Transmitting experienced and captured emotions”- Join the UZ Creative Arts Festival
Set to create emotion and sustain emotions, art has become an integral part of human history and the possible future. The University of Zimbabwe’s Creative Arts Festival is the place to be from 15-17 April, as the Theatre Arts Department hosts the most inspiring and enriching showcase of the finest art.
OyOsNews got the opportunity to speak to one of the Festival Coordinators, Courage Chinokwetu, who expressed the Department’s joy in hosting such an event that gains traction and visibility to the budding artists,
“It gives a platform for upcoming artists to showcase their talent and get known by sector players, stakeholders, policy makers and arts lovers”, said Chinokwetu.
“The major thrust of such events is to fuel networking. Growth comes when different players in the sector meet and share ideas and skills”, she added.
Formerly known as Theatre Arts Week, the Creative Arts Festival was renamed to encompass various art genres.
Art makes one think more deeply, strive more intently and feel joy more profoundly… Don’t Miss Out.
