In an interview with OyOsNews the young artist described the recognition as a remarkable step in his music career but also cites the pressure that comes as many expect the young musician to live up to the name of his mentor.
The passing on of my mentor comes with a lot pressure for my music as there are people looking up to me to continue the legacy and works that ‘Tuku’ was doing”.
If I am to fairly speak, he was a big man and those are huge shoes to fit, so that means I have stop thinking about music leisurely and take up the heat”, he said.
The artist is also working on his debut album and very soon his tunes will be serenading music lovers.
