Worshiper Larry Gunda and UFIC Choir taking gospel music to the world
Lawrence Gunda, affectionately known as Worshiper Larry Gunda, and the UFIC Choir have given Zimbabwean gospel music a leg up internationally as they have received a nomination from Maranatha Global Worship Music Awards ( MGWMA) that are held annually in Kenya.
The resounding Gospel guru is being nominated for Outstanding Invocation/ Surrender song for the powerful track ‘Taura Mweya’ that he performed with one of the biggest choirs in the country, UFIC Choir.
Speaking to OyOsNews, Larry Gunda expressed his joy and urged Zimbabweans to vote for them. “I was surprised when I received an email with great news that I was nominated for the MGWMA. To me it is such an honour to know that people in Kenya and around the world are following my music”, said Gunda.

The award ceremony is set for 12 May and will be held in Nairobi, Kenya
