Jah Signal saddens ghetto youths, chooses expensive Club Sankayi for an album launch
Club Sankayi seems not to be an ideal venue for the ghetto youth Zimdancehall chanter, Jah Signal who is set to launch his album ‘Jaya’ on the 31st of October. The club is well known for big spenders who find it hard to mix with low-income earners.
This means that Jah Signal has sidelined most of his fans that come from the high-density suburbs, although he will compensate with a free gig the following Saturday at K2 grounds in Kuwadzana, it will not go well with the ghetto youths.
One may wonder the reason why he chooses Club Sankayi over other venues that are easily accessible to most of his fans. It might be a money move but the question still remains, will the rich and mature really dance to his music? or they just want to make something out of him?
