Let the Braai Wars Sizzle- BRAAI OUTZW or Castle National Braai Fest

In a nation with so little to look forward to in terms of family entertainment events, it is quite a “coincidence” that two of the biggest braai events, Braai Out ZW and the Castle National Braai fest will be held on the same day.

Braai Out Festival organiser, Nigel Chinovhiringa took to social media to express his bitterness over Castle Lager Zimbabwe’s decision to slate their National Braai Fest on the same day as his event.

‘When I picked my date I made a deliberate choice to do it after your event because I know I could not fight with a big brand like you over fans, but out of respect I decided to wait until you finish eating the cake and I would eat the crumbs a week later but now since you have decided no one deserves to eat even crumbs I have news for you, I’m not going down without a fight…”

“I know an elephant won’t lose its strides because there is an ant but then an ant can come through the nose and make life a bit uncomfortable for you,” said Chinovhiringa.

Initially Castle National Braai Festival was schedule for 25 and 26 October 2019 but had to be postponed to 1 and 2 November 2019 due to events beyond their control. Fans and party lovers now have to pick the gig to attend considering factors such as artist line-up, ticket expense, atmosphere and safety of their vehicles and other possessions.

Braai Out has a cocktail of artists such as headliner, Jah Prayzah, Selmor Mtukudzi, Tristel, Dj KingHer, Mukudzei jnr and many more. On the other hand Castle National Braai Fest will be starring Winky D, Takura, ExQ, Freeman, Killer T and many other Djs on rotation for the two daylong event.

Whichever Braai Fest one decides to attend, make it a point to enjoy wors and good music.
